Culture Content for Urban Travellers
CTCB project (9/2018 – 8/2020) is closed.
Culture Tourism for City Breakers – culture content for urban travellers – brings together different actors in the culture scene: cultural practitioners, 3rd sector actors, artists, art institutions, cultural managers, and students of tourism and culture management, as well as tourism industry actors: tourist agencies, incoming agencies, and regional tourism operators.
During the Spring 2019 CTCB produced a series of co-developer forum events in three cities: Helsinki, Lahti and Jyväskylä.
During the current year, the Culture Tourism for City Breakers project is producing an e-learning course package aimed at students of culture or tourism management as well as for industry representatives in these fields. In the autumn of 2019, CTCB will arrange a national Cultural Tourism seminar in cooperation with the Visit Finland Culture Finland Program. The seminar in Helsinki will bring together actors from both the culture and tourism fields to discuss current matters related to Cultural Tourism as well as to outline prospects for future development.
